01 — Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to ReelCut
By downloading, installing, or using the ReelCut mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Appmint Innovations Pvt. Ltd. ("Company", "we", "us"), a registered software company based in Karnataka, India.
02 — Eligibility
Who Can Use ReelCut
You must be at least 13 years of age to use ReelCut. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you may use the App only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
03 — Your Account
Account Registration
ReelCut uses Google Sign-In for authentication. When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- You agree to provide accurate and current information.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
04 — License & Use
Your Right to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the ReelCut App on your personal device for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
- Templates: You may use the templates provided within the App to create videos. The templates are licensed, not sold, and remain the property of Appmint Innovations Pvt. Ltd.
- Your Content: You retain all rights to the photos, videos, and media you import into the App. ReelCut does not claim ownership of your content.
- Exported Videos: Videos you create and export using ReelCut are yours to share and publish as you see fit.
05 — Prohibited Use
What You Must Not Do
You agree not to use ReelCut for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. You must not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or its templates.
- Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the templates or any part of the App.
- Use the App to create content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or promotes violence.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or servers.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App or its content.
- Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others using the App.
06 — Intellectual Property
Ownership & Copyright
All intellectual property rights in the ReelCut App — including but not limited to the design, code, templates, animations, graphics, logos, and trademarks — are owned by Appmint Innovations Pvt. Ltd.
The "ReelCut" name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Appmint Innovations Pvt. Ltd. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.
07 — Third-Party Services
External Services
ReelCut integrates with third-party services to provide its functionality. These include:
- Google Sign-In: For user authentication via OAuth 2.0.
- Google AdMob: For serving advertisements within the free version of the App.
- Firebase: For analytics, crash reporting, cloud storage, and template delivery.
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.
08 — Disclaimers
As-Is Basis
The ReelCut App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the App at your own risk.
09 — Limitation of Liability
Our Liability Cap
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Appmint Innovations Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10 — Governing Law
Jurisdiction & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Karnataka, India.
11 — Changes to Terms
Staying Up to Date
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will:
- Post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
- Notify users through the App for any significant material changes.
Your continued use of ReelCut after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
