01 — Overview
Our Refund Philosophy
At ReelCut, we want every creator to be satisfied with their experience. This policy outlines the terms for refunds and cancellations related to in-app purchases and subscriptions made through the Google Play Store.
All purchases within ReelCut are processed and billed by Google Play. Refund eligibility is therefore subject to Google Play's refund policies in addition to our own guidelines below.
02 — Subscriptions
Subscription Cancellation
If you have subscribed to ReelCut Pro or any premium plan, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Here's how:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon → "Payments & subscriptions" → "Subscriptions".
- Find "ReelCut" and tap "Cancel subscription".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm cancellation.
03 — In-App Purchases
One-Time Purchases
Refunds for one-time in-app purchases (such as premium template packs or individual features) are handled on a case-by-case basis:
- Within 48 hours: If you request a refund within 48 hours of purchase and have not used the purchased content, we will process a full refund via Google Play.
- After 48 hours: Refunds after 48 hours are at our discretion and will be evaluated based on the circumstances of the request.
- Technical issues: If a purchase did not work as advertised due to a technical issue on our end, we will either fix the issue or provide a full refund.
04 — How to Request a Refund
Requesting a Refund
You can request a refund through any of the following methods:
Email Us
Send your refund request to support@reelcut.in with your order ID and reason.
Google Play
Request directly through Google Play's order history within the first 48 hours.
In-App Support
Use the "Help & Support" option in the app's Settings menu.
Processing Time
Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after approval.
05 — Non-Refundable Items
What We Can't Refund
The following items are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Subscriptions that have been fully used during the billing period.
- Purchases made more than 30 days ago.
- Free trial periods that were converted to paid subscriptions (cancel before trial ends to avoid charges).
- Any promotional or discounted purchases explicitly marked as non-refundable.
