Copyright Protection
Appmint Innovations Pvt. Ltd. ("Company") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable Indian copyright law, we will respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.
If you believe that content available through ReelCut infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice as described below.
02 — Filing a Takedown Notice
How to Report Infringement
To file a DMCA takedown notice, please provide the following information in writing to our designated agent:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including its location within the App or website (URL or description).
- Your contact information — including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
03 — Counter-Notification
Disputing a Takedown
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of courts in Karnataka, India.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will provide a copy to the original complainant and restore the removed content within 10–14 business days, unless the complainant files a court action.
04 — Repeat Infringers
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and our internal policies, we will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We define a "repeat infringer" as any user who has been the subject of more than two valid takedown notices.
